Overview: Plano-Convex (PCX) Lenses have a positive focal length, can focus a collimated beam or collimate light from a point source, making them ideal for collecting and focusing light in imaging applications. Star Optic provides Plano-Convex Lenses fabricated from RoHS-compliant N-BK7, UV fused silica, N-SF11, CaF2, Si, Ge, ZnSe and Sapphire. Our Plano-Convex Lenses are also used in applications involving emitters, detectors, lasers, and fiber optics.

Coating Options Of UV Fused Silica Plano Convex (PCX) Spherical Lens: Star Optic's above standard plano convex lenses are uncoated. In order to reduce the amount of light reflected from each surface of the lens, antireflection coatings including singer layer MgF2, multi-layer AR coating, Broadband multi-layer AR coating and Dual wavelength AR coating are also available.
Mounting Options For Plano Convex (PCX) Spherical Lens: Star Optic's above standard plano convex lenses are not mounted. However, we can provide fixed mount and adjustable mount for our lenses.
