Lateral Displacement Beamsplitter, Rhomboid Prism And Right Angle Prism Cemented
 

Overview:

Lateral Displacement Beamsplitters are cemented by a right angle prism and a rhomboid prism. The beamsplitter outputs two parallel beams separated by a distance that depending on the size of Rhomboid prism. The high tolerance design ensures the exiting beams are parallel to within 2 arcmin.

 

The cemented surface is coated with beamsplitter coating to achieve a wide variety of beam splitting ratio such as 50:50 over a certain wavelength range. The entrance and exit faces feature a multi-layer anti-reflection (AR) coating for increased efficiency and reduce the refection of the surface.
