Overview:

Double-Concave (DCV) Lens, also referred to as bi-concave lens, has two inward curved surfaces. They have a negative focal length and are best used to diverge a converging beam. Double-concave lenses can diverge a collimated beam to a virtual focus and are commonly used for image reduction and to spread light.
