Negative Meniscus Lens, N-BK7, Minimize Spherical Aberration Lens

Overview:
Negative meniscus (convex-concave) lens is designed to minimize spherical aberration in optical systems. When used in combination with another lens, a negative meniscus lens will increase the focal length and decrease the numerical aperture (NA) of the system without introducing significant spherical aberration. When used to diverge light, the convex surface should face the beam to minimize spherical aberration. Star Optic provides positive meniscus lenses in a variety of substrates and anti-reflection coating options.
