Lateral Displacement Polarization Beamsplitter, Output Two Parallel Beams

Overview:

Lateral Displacement Polarizing Beamsplitters consist of one or more precision rhomboid prisms cemented to a precision right angle prism.The lateral displacement polarizing beamsplitters output two parallel beams separated by a fixed distance. And the displacement is decided by the size of rhomboid prism.

 

The cemented surface is applied with polarizing beamsplitter coating(with p-polarization transmission of >95%, s-polarization reflection of >99% and an extinction ratio of >1000:1) and entrance and exit faces feature a multi-layer anti-reflection (AR) coating for increased efficiency.

 

By adding a waveplate can adjust the polarization state of the output beams. The high-tolerance design prims ensure that the exiting beams are parallel to within 30 arc seconds.
